One-on-One Adaptive Music Lessons

date.

ongoing

city.

Ottawa, Ontario (and Online)

Format

One-on-one 60 minute, 30 minute, or 45 minute lessons

Every student learns in their own way. That’s where we begin.

These lessons are made for autistic, neurodivergent, disabled, anxious, and sensory-sensitive learners of all ages who might not feel comfortable in a typical music class.

Instead of following a strict curriculum, lessons are shaped around how each person thinks, communicates, moves, and experiences sound. The goal is to meet the student where they are and build from there.

Students might explore:

Ukulele

Piano

Songwriting

Improvisation

Digital music and sound creation

Playing by ear

Creative music games and activities

Lessons are calm, flexible, and responsive. There’s no pressure to perform, read music, sit still, or follow traditional rules. Students are supported to engage with music in a way that feels safe, interesting, and meaningful to them.

Many students who find typical music lessons overwhelming discover that this approach helps them relax, enjoy learning, and build confidence.

This isn’t music therapy.
It’s music education shaped to fit the learner.

Lessons are available in Ottawa or online.
